Bugvia Library

The Bugvia Library is stocked with more than 10,000 books on around 30 educational, spiritual and Islamic topics. This collection not only consists of printed books but hand written manuscripts as well. A purpose built building has been established which houses these books in neat and protective shelves. Adequate arrangements have been made to store and read the books for researchers and scholars desiring to do so. Interested scholars are encouraged to contact and visit the library which has adequate provisions and facilities to read, write and research. The Bugvia Library is always ready to support and encourage scholars and literary authors. In North Punjab this is one of the notable libraries where such a historic collection of books has been made possible and maintained. It is a novel and unique place to investigate ancient Islamic history, culture, norms and teachings. New ideas can perhaps be built upon these combination of ancient and modern literary material for the benefit of our Ummah. Magazines generating from Islamic centers of learnings in the subcontinent are stored, along with correspondence, letters from prominent personalities. Quran manuscripts are available as well as writings in the languages of Arabic, Persian, Urdu, English, Hindi and Punjabi.

Monthly Magazine Shams-ul-Islam

The Magazine Shams ul Islam was initiated in 1925 AD named after the founder of Khanqah Sial Sharif Hazrat Khawaja Shams Uddin Sialvi. The magazine was named after him due to respect in his knowledge and leadership. The magazine has been in publication for the past 95 years and serving the achievement of the aims and objectives of Majlis Hizb ul Ansar. The magazine articles propagate the teachings of Islam, serve in educating the muslims and foster a society of brotherhood filled with compassion for each other. The magazine presents a moderate view on the subjects at hand with sectarianism, bias and conflict. The magazine hosts articles from respectable Ulema who write to serve the Deen and its people. It gives a message of hope, unity, trust, moderation, truth and service to all muslims. The language of the magazine articles is simple appealing to the common man and provides useful information. Maulana Zahoor Ahmed Bugvi is the founder and first editor of the magazine. The issues of the magazine initiated in 1925 AD are well preserved in the Bugvia Library. The magazine will be available online soon and can be obtained in hard copy from the office of Majlis Hizb ul Ansar on subscription.

Preaching and Propagation of Islam

Majlis Hizb ul Ansar ensures spread and propagation of the message of Islam and its correct teachings to the adjacent areas as well as other forums. The organization arranges a National Conference on annual basis with participation of Ulema, scholars and speakers of prominence. The magazine Shams ul Islam is supplemented with brochures, posters, handbills and other material as per need and requirement. A number of books have also been published over the years under the auspices of Majlis Hizb ul Ansar. Effort is also made to work in cohesion with the Ulema of surrounding areas with invitation to them for meetings, conference and dialogue.

Bhera Information and Research Center

The Lahore-Islamabad M2 Motorway has created ease of communication and connection of District Sargodha and Bhera with major cities of Punjab. With Bhera lying in the center of M2 motorway increased trend in visitors, tourists and travelers has been occurring. The Sher Shah Suri mosque is increasingly gaining prominence and significance as a national monument. To educate and provide information to the visitors and tourists an information center has been created. A museum housing the history and artifacts of the region complement the structure of the Sher Shah Suri Mosque. This institute provides guidance to visitors, displays the culture, prepares reading material and makes the experience of the tourists valuable and interesting.
